Saving Files

Write your metadata edits to disk using the toolbar, the File menu, or a keyboard shortcut.

When a file has unsaved changes, its save indicator turns from green to red. Once you are done editing and ready to save, press the Save button in the toolbar. You can also choose Save from the File menu, or use the keyboard shortcut Cmd+S.

Tip: If you prefer to skip the manual save step, enable the Save After Every Change option in Preferences and Metadatics will save automatically after every edit.
