Adding/Removing Files

All the ways to bring audio files into Metadatics — and to clear them out again.

There are several ways to add and remove files in Metadatics. Use whichever workflow fits best — drag and drop, toolbar buttons, menu commands, or keyboard shortcuts.

Adding Files

  • Drag files from the Finder onto the main window.
  • Drag files from the Finder onto the Metadatics dock icon.
  • Click the Add Files button in the toolbar.
  • Choose Open from the File menu, or press Cmd+O.
  • Control-click in the main window and choose Add Files from the contextual menu.

Removing Files

  • Select the files you want to remove and click the Remove Files icon in the toolbar.
  • Select files and press Cmd+Delete.
  • Select files, control-click in the main window, and choose Remove Files from the contextual menu.
  • Remove every file from the list by pressing the Clear Files button in the toolbar.
