Adding/Removing Files

All the ways to bring audio files into Metadatics, and to clear them out again.

There are several ways to add and remove files in Metadatics. Use whichever workflow fits best: drag and drop, toolbar buttons, menu commands, or keyboard shortcuts.

Adding Files

• Drag files from the Finder onto the main window.
• Drag files from the Finder onto the Metadatics dock icon.
• Click the Add Files button in the toolbar.
• Choose Open from the File menu, or press Cmd+O.
• Control-click in the main window and choose Add Files from the contextual menu.

Removing Files

• Select the files you want to remove and click the Remove Files icon in the toolbar.
• Select files and press Cmd+Delete.
• Select files, control-click in the main window, and choose Remove Files from the contextual menu.
• Remove every file from the list by pressing the Clear Files button in the toolbar.
